Do you love your Joliet Chamber?
Do you tell people that you meet why they should be a member of the Joliet Chamber? Do you like networking and speaking one-on-one with business people? MAYBE YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BECOMING A JOLIET CHAMBER AMBASSADOR!
Ambassadors are the "positive voice" of the Chamber. Joliet Chamber Ambassadors call and welcome new members to the Chamber, deliver New Member packets, serve as "Greeters" at Chamber events, among other things. Ambassadors meet the first Wednesday of the month at 8:15 a.m. at the Chamber office to review the Chamber's schedule for the month, hand out New Member packets to be delivered, etc.
If you think you may be interested in becoming an Ambassador - or would like more information, please contact Mike Paone at the Chamber.

Membership Recruitment
As we move into a New Year it's always a good chance to reach out to you, our members and ask for a little assistance. A collection of 2,000+ eyes and ears are a tremendous asset to have. This link provides a top category Prospect Sheet for your review. We offer many more categories, but this is just a quick memory jogger. If you have a chance, print it out and keep close by throughout the year.
Ask yourself if you utilize any business(es) in one or many of the categories. Maybe there is a new business coming into your office building or maybe in your personal life you use a business that isn't a Chamber member yet.
When you do realize that one or more businesses are not members, let us know! We'll be happy to contact them right away and if you're willing, we'll take an introduction.
The more businesses that we can count as members means the more potential partners, customers and clients that you and your fellow members can reach out to. Also, the more collective voices that we can represent equals more attention when it comes to matters in the political world.
Thank you for your support and please contact Mike Paone at 815.727.5371 with any questions or information.

Exciting New Announcement !!!
We are
excited to announce that our members can now access our new
Business / Membership Directory as well as a new Calendar /
Online Registration page.
First, when you visit our Chamber home page you can easily click on Business/Membership Directory and you will be taken to a newly designed search page. From here you
may search for members by company name and/or business
categories. A full category drop down menu is available as well
as an improved key word search function. Once a business or
category has been displayed, new options appear as well in terms
of business information. A scrolling list of new members
appears on the right sidebar and you now have a feature that
allows you to start your own list and/or roster to save for
future reference.
Second, we have added a brand new and easy to use Calendar of Events page that now allows all members to register and pay for their
luncheon, dinner, etc online with a credit card or opt for an invoice to
be sent out. No more faxing or mailing or calling in a
reservation (we'll still gladly accept) as you can now complete
your registration and receive confirmation right away. You can
view the entire calendar in a special view and print out. Also,
now you can set up a reminder to be sent directly to your inbox
for an event. Finally, you now have the option to import the
events directly into Microsoft Outlook which is especially useful
in this time of smart phone use.
Take some time and check
out both of these new features and we suggest that you utilize
them to their fullest capabilities. You can feel free to contact
us if you need help in one of the areas.
