           Hello, my name is Tim Peterson and I am a Sales Representative for Cintas Corp. Let me start by telling you something about my history. I was the owner of Flameout Fire Protection in New Lenox, IL from 1992 to 2009. Flameout was a full service fire extinguisher company that also serviced emergency lighting and restaurant fire suppression systems. However, because of a costly merger, opportunity became limited and I had to close my doors. This is where my Joliet Chamber of Commerce story begins.

            I am the father of two great boys, Kenny and Ian, 16 and 12 respectively. I have been coaching baseball for one or the other for the last 7 years. I enjoy all sports, exercise regularly and still get together with old friends for basketball on a weekly basis. I have traveled extensively throughout my adult life because my wife is a Flight attendant for United Air Lines. I enjoy people and that helps with being a salesman for a living.

           I started my new job as a Sales Representative for Cintas Corp. on Oct. 19, 2009. That happens to be one day after my birthday (Oct. 18). As a Salesman, I try to make our potential customers aware of everything this company offers and if I do that well, a sale is eminent. In any case, I haven’t been an ambassador very long so I am still learning my responsibilities.
